Temple Spa Pamper Session
To start our 2021 we had a W.I Zoom pamper session with Temple Spa. They had lots of lovely samples for us to try of which we all enjoyed immensely.

Sort my Space Talk
Our Zoom meeting last night was well attended. Our talk by Katherine Blacker from Sort my Space was very informative, she gave us lots of ideas for decluttering our lives from our overwhelming Paperwork to the clutter in our Wardrobes. She gave us valuable ideas with what to do with our surplus stuff, we can Sell, Donate, Ditch or Recycle.

Comedienne, Pat Hall
We were entertained on Sunday by Comedienne Pat Hall with stories and poems about our lockdown life and life in general then a quick chat after about things to do when we Unlock - looking forward to some great meet-ups soon

Cartoon Drawing
A fun evening with Cartoonist Malcom Whittall where he showed us how to draw some great cartoon characters. Who knew such talent was lurking inside Wythit!

AGM and Domestic Abuse Talk
Our Zoom Meeting this month was our Annual AGM with a very interesting talk beforehand by Dawn Statham on the subject of Domestic Abuse. Committee members were voted in with a lovely recap of our past year with photos. It will be good to start meeting in person again very soon.
Bedale Litter Busters
On 16th May local groups and volunteers got together to help the Bedale Litter Busters group to have a Town Tidy. For the full story go to: Bedale Litter Busters

Afternoon Tea
A wonderful time was had meeting up in person this month at Spring House Farm. A delicious tea and a fab wythit themed quiz from Pat.

Happy Sweet 16!
It was our Wythit 16th B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y on Sunday so we had a fab celebration ( Covid compliant ) with Food & Birthday Cake and great entertainment by Norman Phillips on guitar at Bedale Park. A wonderful afternoon enjoyed by everyone, roll on the next 16 years!

Fixing old clothes and social gathering
It was fantastic to meet up again last night in the Old Black Swan in Bedale, and what a warm welcome from Martyn and Nicola including a yummy homemade cake made specially for us.
We had an interesting talk and demo from Bobby on how to look after and mend our Cashmere jumpers.

Colour and Style interactive workshop
A fun and interactive workshop and jewellery sale with Sarah Heron, consultant and director of True Colours. Sarah is an independent, personal Colour and Style coach but non-stereotypical in her approach. She gave a talk on finding your fashion, and from the quiz we discovered our styles of being Tailored or Crazy and whether we are a Winter, Spring, Summer, or Autumn person.

Tarot Cards and Crystals
Our meeting on Sunday was a fascinating talk by Harry Helsing on Tarot Cards and Crystals explaining their meanings. We also had a short presentation from Elaine Kilroy about The Food Bank; our donations were then collected.

Christmas fun
Our meeting on Sunday was a festive feast of Mince Pies mostly home made; our fave was by Anne! We also made tree decorations, led by Linda, played pass the parcel and had lots of yummy tasting. Happy Christmas everyone and best wishes for 2022.
